CARE GUIDE
Jewellery is made to be worn, but also cared for.
Each piece is designed to become part of your everyday gestures, to be kept close and lived with over time. With the right care, your jewellery can preserve its beauty for longer, carrying its shape, shine and meaning through different moments.
To preserve your pieces, avoid wearing them during sports activities, while washing your hands or when bathing. We also recommend keeping your jewellery away from perfumes, creams, cosmetics and other products that may affect its appearance. Let these products dry before putting your pieces on.
SILVER PIECES
Silver pieces may naturally oxidise with time, slightly changing their colour and appearance. This is part of the natural life of the material. To help protect them, store each piece in its original packaging, away from air, moisture and direct contact with other jewellery.
When needed, silver pieces can be gently cleaned with a suitable silver cleaning product, or with a soft brush, mild soap or toothpaste.
GOLD-PLATED PIECES
Gold-plated silver pieces may gradually lose their golden tone with wear. This is a natural process and part of the way each piece lives with you. If your piece needs to be re-plated, please contact us at geral@raquelpocojewellery.com with the name or image of the piece, so we can provide you with a quote.
GOLD PIECES
Gold pieces are more resistant, but they also benefit from gentle care. To help preserve their natural shine, avoid contact with chemicals, perfumes, cosmetics and moisture, and store them separately from other pieces to prevent scratches.
When needed, gold pieces can be gently cleaned with a suitable cleaning product, or with a soft brush, mild soap or toothpaste.
