Her first collection, Wabi Sabi (わびさび), was born from a trip to Japan in 2018 and from a desire to have those memories endure over time.

"When I think of it, I think of nature, freedom, the wind, and flowing dresses. Simplicity, elegance, but at the same time, sensuality. I think of confidence. I think of a collection with pieces that can appeal to both younger and more mature individuals. Organic and simple pieces that can be worn daily or for special occasions," Raquel describes.

Wabi Sabi is a way of celebrating life, rooted in Japanese culture, which invites us to appreciate the beauty of imperfection and simplicity and to embrace the transient nature of things.
